This is a 19" Maxima sport package rim and 245/40/19 Goodyear Eagle RS-A High Performance All Season tire.  The tire has 6.5/32 remaining out of 10/32 new, so it has 65% tread left.  This tire/rim combination has been balanced and has a new valve stem.  I included a picture of the curb damage to the rim; no other damage was found.

When new, these rims can cost up to $650 each and the tires about $250, so this is a GREAT deal.  I have another rim/tire combination just like this but without curb rash and I will make a deal on the two if you'd like both.  Ebay makes it difficult to include both free shipping and local pickup as options, but locals feel free to stop by and pick them up yourself!

The free shipping only applies to ConUS.

Hot Wheels and Icon in sandbox battle

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

As first reported by Jeff Glucker of Hooniverse, the toymaker Mattel has been accused of infringing on a trademark held by the low-volume vehicle builder Icon 4X4. Icon claims that a Hot Wheels toy being distributed worldwide is based on its Icon FJ40—which itself is based on the Toyota FJ40—and that Hot Wheels' use of Icon's design, promotional materials and the name “FJ40” violates trademarks held by Icon. In its response to Tuesday's Hooniverse post, Hot Wheels claimed that the toy is not based on the Icon FJ40, and that it has the right to use the term “FJ40” despite Icon's trademark.
