Toyota Etios (2010): news and photos

Toyota unveiled the Etios hatchback and saloon concepts today at the 2010 New Delhi auto show. It’s Toyota’s New Compact Car for the growing Indian car market. The Etios is aimed at family users, and is consequently a notch above the Tata Nano – in size and anticipated prices.

Used car sales return to pre-recession levels

As the UK’s buoyant new car sales figures continue to buck the European trend, it was only a matter of time before this had a positive knock-on effect on sales of used cars. Now, according to figures released in the latest BCA Used Car Market Report, used car sales hit 7.1 million last year, outpacing new car sales by 6.4% and, even more crucially, returning to pre-recession levels. GM Sale to Magna Cancelled

GM has cancelled the sale of Opel and Vauxhall to Magna It’s been fraught with problems from the start, but what fire-sale isn’t? The unions have been unimpressed with what Magna were offering. The EU has had a pout and a stomp about the sale.  Lord Mandy has said lots but done little.
