Up for auction is a set of 5 rough castings of Spranger hubcaps, which were made from 1915-1927 as hubcaps to put on Model T speedsters instead of factory hubcaps. I am sure they will work on other makes of cars, as you will be cutting the threads in. Originals are impossible to find! They will need to be polished on the front and left brass, or either nickle-plated or painted, and threads grooved in the back side, to screw on a wire or disc Model T wheel. Current inside diameter of each cap is approx. 2 3/4 inches. Sorry just one set. Flat USA shipping fee of $25.00. they are heavy! Foreign shipping for costs. Sat, 08 Jan 20112012 Ford Focus Electric - debuted at CES Las Vegas We expected Ford to debut the electric version of the new Focus at the Detroit Motor Show next week until they did the whole ‘Electric Focus Tease‘ thing last week. Just like Audi with their latest e-Tron Spyder, Ford has chosen to take the wraps off at the CES in Las Vegas. Which is probably as clear an indication as you need that the car’s place in the marketplace is becoming blurred with the push towards electric cars.
General Motors says its EN-V concept might be tested in large cities

Fri, 28 Mar 2014The BMW 2 Series active Tourer moves to the butch side with an M Sport Package Purists moan, but the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer MPV is a sensible move by BMW and aimed at BMW lovers who need a BMW equivalent to the Mercedes B Class; a premium family car for shifting kids and stuff around. Using the same platform as the all new MINI, the 2 Series Active Tourer is BMW’s first front wheel drive car, although a 225i Active Tourer will go on sale in November complete with BMW’s 4WD xDrive. But the 2 Series Active Tourer wouldn’t be a BMW offering unless it also came with the option of an M Sport Pack, which is exactly what will be on offer – however unsuited the Active Tourer may seem for such sporty embellishments – when the xDrive Active Tourer arrives in November (although the M Sport Pack will be offered across the whole Active Tourer range).
