Here are 12 new old stock rim clamps.  They are aftermarket replacements made by Stone Manufacturing back in the 1930's.  Still in the box!

Good original unused condition as pictured.  Some light rust or degradation of the galvanized finish as pictured.

These measure approximately 1 5/16" by 1 7/16".  They have 7/16"-20 thread.

Be careful if you have a Model T Ford.  Henry used lots of different brand rims, and sometimes more than one in the same model year.

These are for Firestone H and G rims.  Those rims were used on:

1926-1927...... Chandler Special Six

1919-1925...... Ford Model T (some, but not all)

1924................Nash Four

Honda S660 Concept revealed – the Honda Beat returns

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

The Honda S660 Concept (pictured) will debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show It looks like Honda is making a return to the Kei car with the arrival of the Honda S660 Concept ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The Kei class of car in Japan is small (less than 3.4 metres long) and comes with a raft of tax breaks for buyers, but despite it being designed just for Japan it’s gained a cult following round the world, and now the Honda Beat for the 21st century has arrived in the form of the S660 concept. The S660 Concept – it gets the required maximum 660cc Kei engine limit – is a mid-engined open top roadster that manages to deliver 64bhp from its 3-cylinder engine which, with a weight under 900kg, should be reasonably lively.

Car spending 'more than holidays'

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

NEARLY HALF of drivers in the UK spend more disposable income on their car than anything else, according to a survey. Spending on cars (47%) easily outweighs the amount spent on holidays (21%) and socialising with friends (13%), the poll from Halfords Autocentres showed. But the survey also found that 10% of drivers were cutting back on car maintenance to save money.
