This is an old Elgin eight day clock. These were an aftermarket accessory for any car in the twenties. This one looks pretty good. The clock winds up and begins ticking but will quit after about 10 seconds. If you tap the back it will then tick for another ten seconds. Face and hands look pretty good. The brass mounting plate is bent slightly. Pretty good old clock. I SHIP USPS TO USA ONLY.

The air runs out of run-flat tires

It was another disappointment for Michelin and other makers of run-flat tires in a 17-year effort to win customers in the United States. When run-flat tires appeared here in 1992, they were expected to win wide acceptance as original equipment.

College Exhibition: Creapole MA Degree Show 2011

The focus of this year's show is 'intelligent technology', proposing alternative propulsion systems for the transport of tomorrow, from the urban to the aquatic, from the functional to the fictional. The challenge for these young designers is to take these new technologies and apply them in an attractive, meaningful and human way.
