DISPLACEMENT: 186.5 CU. IN. WHEELBASE: 110 IN. WEIGHT: 2270 LBS. TIRES: 29 x 4.75 (On 20 x 4 IN. Rim) ORIG. PRICE: $825 Oakland Motor Car Co., a General Motors firm, introduced the first Pontiac in 1926. There were two models which were similarly priced. The 5-passenger Coach (2-door sedan) accounted for most of the year’s 76,742 sales, but the coupe with its leather-covered rear roof quarters and Iandau top bows was the sportier style. This Coupe was second off the assembly line. Corduroy or leather upholstery could be ordered. A parcel shelf was behind the seat.
