REAL HENRY STEEL

This is a barn find from west Texas (actually, it's from my wife's family barn) and it's been sitting for almost 40 years in the same location.  The shell is pretty solid with mostly surface rust, there are a few small rust holes in cowl lowers and inner rear fenders.  The Cowl is separated from the main body.

I have no idea what year it is or if in fact it's a roadster or coupe, however, I believe this is a coupe without the top (look at all of the pictures closely). It comes with all the fenders (I think they belong to this body and are fairly rough), a door, front axle with brakes, the inner firewall and two headlight bars.  There is still some flooring that looks very solid.

Ford to roll out Stop-Start in a big way

Mon, 27 Dec 2010

Ford are rolling out Stop Start in North America Stop-Start is a relatively simple way for car makers to grab more miles out of every gallon of fuel a car uses by simply turning off the engine when it’s not being used. And it’s a technology that is rapidly spreading from the hybrid sector in to more mainstream cars. And high end stuff too, with Porsche rolling it out on the Cayenne and Panamera.
