Here are 11 new old stock aftermarket replacement rim clamps.  Genuine oldies manufactured by Stone Manufacturing back in the late 20's or early 30's.

These fit Kelsey Hayes model 711 rims.  They fit 1928 Willys-Knight T100 and some 1929 Willys-Knight T100.

They have their original galvanized finish, which is a little powdery after all these decades of storage.

Part-worn tyre sales under the microscope again

SALES of part-worn tyres are about to hit the agenda again following a study from charity TyreSafe that found 98% of potentially dangerous part-worn tyres were being sold illegally. As a result the organisation has stepped up to take part in the forthcoming Trading Standards conference at the end of June, after a successful trial last year. Running for three days from 30th June at the Harrogate International Centre, the event is the biggest gathering of trading standards officers and enforcement professionals in the UK.

Daimler plans to offer a pilot Smart car rental program in Texas

With Smart's U.S. sales continuing to drop dramatically, Daimler AG is launching a pilot program in Austin, Texas, for short-term rental of the micro car. The program, called car2go, would allow registered users to pick up an available Smart, use it for as long as needed, and return it to designated locations in the city.
