1928 Ford model A four cylinder rear main bearing shim set - one pair National # 968. Sadly, I do not have any of the center main shims. Each shim is 1/64" thick, & is made up of a stack of .002 shims, the outer edge is bound so they won't curl or come apart until you peel them open. National calls them 'multi leaf construction". This allows you to add or remove layers to get the perfect fit on those difficult babbited con rods. My old National catqalog shows 1928 only on this shim. This is what they used back in the day to shim the babbited main bearings for proper clearance. Pretty tough to find nowadays. -.---- Positive feedback ALWAYS given with EVERY completed transaction. 2015 Subaru Legacy photos leaked

The 2015 Subaru Legacy was scheduled to debut at the Chicago Auto Show this week, but press photos leaked early at a certain Aussie site. Down under it's called the Subaru Liberty. The new car takes some cues from the Legacy Concept we saw at the Los Angeles Auto Show, though many of the curved lines seem to have been pulled straight.

Rendering of the Vauxhall Astra Roadster With the new Vauxhall Astra starting to be pushed by Vauxhall ahead of its official launch at Frankfurt in September, thoughts are now turning to what derivatives of the new Astra are to come. Vauxhall are already committed to the three door hatchback and the estate as the follow up after the launch, but an obvious contender is an open-topped Astra. And if these renderings are to be believed it will be a bit of a show-stopper.
