8.5 X 11" catalog with 16 pages. This is a reproduction circa 1970's of the original catalog, which is quite rare. Cadillac commissioned professional photographer Anton Bruehl in 1929 to create photographic studies of the first production automobile with a 16 cylinder engine: the 1930 Cadillac Series 452.   The catalog that resulted from the photographs was issued at the time of the January 1930 New York Auto Salon. The original catalog is extremely rare and seldom seen.  The reproduction had a limited distribution, and has become collectible as well.  A beautiful piece, in Xlnt condition.

CAMPAIGNERS are urging insurers to show last year's premium alongside any renewal quote they give to prompt people to shop around more for a better deal. Research by Which? found that nearly nine out of 10 (85%) people would find it useful to have the amount they paid last year on a renewal letter for any type of premium such as car or home insurance.

SPD offers scholarships for autumn program with Volkswagen Group

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

The Scuola Politecnica di Design is giving away eight scholarships for its autumn program in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group. The scholarships are aimed at students with degrees in transportation or car design, automotive engineering or equivalent degrees that show a high level of potential. The successful eight students will be given scholarships and will begin their studies at the Milan-based SPD on October 24. The awarding of the scholarships will be decided by a ‘motivational interview', an evaluation of the student's portfolio and the submission of a conceptual project assignment, with the election process being conducted jointly by the SPD and Volkswagen.

Child car smoking ban moves closer

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

A BAN ON SMOKING in cars with children present has moved a step closer after peers inflicted a defeat on the Government in the House of Lords. Campaigners welcomed the result of the Lords vote, claiming a ban would protect half-a-million children who were exposed to second-hand smoke in cars every week. Although the successful Labour amendment to the Children and Families Bill does not directly ban smoking in cars with children in them, it backs the principle of making it an offence.
