Lamborghini Gallardo replacement teased again in another strange Hexagon Project video

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Another odd teaser video for the Lamborghini Cabrera Lamborghini are trying to ramp up excitement for the Gallardo’s replacement with a series of teases ahead of a reveal we expect to happen in public at Geneva in the spring, but which could arrive long before online. We hope. We hope, because the teasers Lamborghini are publishing are a bit odd, to say the least.

F1 Budget Cap – No two-tier system says Ecclestone

Sun, 17 May 2009

Bernie Ecclestone says there will be no two-tier system in the F1 budget cap row [ad#ad-1] All eyes have gone off the stunning start to this year’s F1 circus with the news that Ferrari, Renault, Red Bull and several other teams have threatened to quit F1 next year in protest at the budget cap proposal and the two-tier system that appears to create. In a nutshell, the FIA – lead by Max Mosley – has imposed a £40 million cap on F1 team expenditure for next year (excluding driver costs, marketing costs and transport), but has said that teams who don’t adhere to the cap can still compete, but will be handicapped. Not surprisingly, the richer teams have objected and, on the face of it, it starts to look as if F1 as we know it is going to bite the dust.

Jaguar F-Type on video at Goodwood FoS

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

We have video of Jaguar’s Mike Cross taking the new Jaguar F-Type up the hillclimb at Goodwood as Jaguar show off their new toy. We thought we were pretty much done and dusted with news from this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, but as Jaguar has finally managed to edit a video of the new Jaguar F-Type at the FoS we thought it worth revisiting one more time. Jaguar made a bit of a show of the camouflaged F-Type at Goodwood – its first public outing – with guards standing outside the container the F-Type was housed in to keep sticky fingers and prying eyes at bay.
