This listing is for a 24" length of high purity square braided flexible graphite packing.  Replaces Studebaker part number 156030.  Excellent quality!  Perfect for your vintage vehicle water pump.  This packing is self-lubricating, operates with extremely low friction and provides excellent heat dispersion and sealability.  Packing is designed to operate in all pH ranges (0-14 pH), up to pressures of 475 psi. and temperature of 1150 degrees farenheit.  Made in the USA.

LTU students design SRG Global-branded vehicle

Lawrence Technological University's (LTU) Daniel Kangas has received a Coach Builder Design Award after winning a semester-long design competition. The contest – sponsored by chrome-plated plastic parts manufacturer SRG Global – challenged LTU students to design a SRG Global-branded vehicle that incorporated the company's products, as well as future technologies and trends. Kangas' design will be developed into SRG Global's virtual car to be used on the company's website and mobile apps to showcase its products and finishes.

Japan quake delays redesigned Nissan Titan until 2014 model year

The March earthquake in Japan has forced NIssan to delay the introduction of the revived Titan pickup until the 2014 model year. The quake required a redeployment of engineers to get Nissan production back into operation, says a top Nissan executive. "We will come out a little later now," Andy Palmer, Nissan Motor Co.'s executive vice president for vehicle planning and program management, told Automotive News during the Los Angeles auto show.
