This is a pair of New Reproduction Convertible Top Saddles that fit a 1929 Chevrolet Cabriolet. They are Chromed Silicone Brass with stainless steel studs. The saddle  straps will hook onto the Footman loops on the roof to hold the top secure when it is down. The support on the rear deck is sometimes still on the vehicle, but the rest is removable as you can see in the photo's  and would get broken or lost over a period of time. These have been hand made with exacting standards to the original quality or better. I do not believe these are available from any other source and they would be a nice addition to your Cabriolet. These saddles have been copied and reproduced from an original set and are very nice. Local Pick up is available.  Thanks for looking!

The 2008 Sintesi is strictly an ‘ideas concept’ imagining a future vehicle that can communicate with other cars to avoid traffic and accidents and thus reduce the need for current passive safety requirements – like longer and heavier front noses to meet pedestrian impact laws.

General Motors' Research and Development has collaborated with Bezalel Academy of Art and Design's Future Lab students to conceptualize new ways in which rear seat passengers – who traditionally feel disconnected from their environment – have a richer experience on the road. The result is the Windows of Opportunity project, a series of applications developed by the Bezalel students and built into full-size prototypes using multi-touch and gesture sensing surfaces developed by ClickEye. The projects were: – Otto an animated character projected over passing scenery that responds to real-time car performance, weather and landscape.
