6 volt starter motor from an unknown 1930's Dodge, Plymouth, I have no idea if it still will work and so we sell this as a core for rebuilding, it turns, greasy/dirty/surface rust, no broken tabs, but the switch is stuck.  Please see the pictures for condition, thank you.  This was pulled from a wreck 50 years ago and stashed away in a storage bus.  My Hollander book isn't old enough to ID this one, but the tag is on it, so please ID it using the part number.

New 2012 Volvo V40: Photo leaks ahead of Geneva debut

The new Volvo V40 leaks ahead of a Geneva debut We have the first photo of the new Volvo V40 – leaked from a Swedish Car Magazine –  ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. We had a tease for the all new Volvo V40 back in December (actually, there has been another since, but it was nothing but a black shape so we ignored it) and we’ve had spy video of the V40 too (although we still thought it would be the V30 then). And now we get what is almost certainly the first photos of the Volvo V40 that will debut at Geneva.

Mitsubishi MiEV – Plod-Mobile

Mon, 05 Oct 2009

The blues and twos on a Mitsubishi MiEV It appears that since Mitsubishi took the MiEV to the National Police Show last month they’ve been inundated with requests from Police Forces around the UK to test the car. With it’s top speed of 81 mph and range of 100 miles we can’t quite see the MiEV being used as a pursuit car. In fact the only place it would be of any use is in town, but for what it’s worth we’d much rather see plod pounding the beat than floating around in a Noddy-Mobile.

Nissan news at 2009 Tokyo motor show

Wed, 21 Oct 2009

Carlos Ghosn, Nissan CEO and general talisman, struts his stuff with the new electric Leaf – and promises three other EVs: a van based on the NV200, a compact, high-performance, luxury four-seat Infiniti (think Lexus LF-Ch or BMW 1-series) and an urban car inspired by the crazy Land Glider concept. Yes, the leaning-over, futuristic looking Nissan Land Glider has some production intent, he vows. It looks like it’s been squished from both sides, and if you’re lanky them climbing in is quite a squeeze.
