This came from a shelf of an old collector,I personnally know it has been there for 35yrs at least.It fits a 1930-31,chrome is nice,detail around bezel is clear and good,it has a bevel window just like an old pocket watch on each side.it has the gold surface with black writing on it,it says SUMMER then AVERage on each side with small black writing at the bottom,The rubber inside thecap is good and the hinge is tight, the other side has gold pattern[small diamonds?] then the FORD blue oval, the outer trim around has black in the vine? around it,, It does have a reserve on it but a very low one,good luck

Ferrari sold for record £22 million

One of just 39 models made and regarded as one of the greatest Ferraris, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta went under the hammer at Bonhams' auction in Carmel, California. A huge crowd watching the bidding broke into applause at the confirmation of the final price, which outdid the previous record for a car sold at auction.
