NEVER BEEN ON A CAR!!

No part number on the GM box - has 262A stamped on one of the pieces and the other has 49L and a little flange (photo 3)



**Steel shells may have minor surface rust



Not sure what exactly this fits, but someone had written "1941 Oldsmobile 6 cyl." on the box. Believe its for application in the 1930's-1940's Oldsmobile Buick Cadillac Chevrolet Pontiac six cyl. range.

Ford recalling Explorer and E-series vans

Ford is recalling its E-series van and Explorer SUV for two different reasons. The vans could develop bubbles in the windshield, decreasing visibility, while the Explorers need to have their steering gears checked. The van’s windshields were improperly manufactured, according to the NHTSA, some forming bubbles after an extended time in hot temperatures.

GM cuts Facebook ad spending, but Ford steps on the gas

On the eve of Facebook's wildly anticipated initial public stock offering, General Motors said May 15 that it will stop buying advertisements on Facebook--about $10 million a year--but "remains committed" to the social network as part of "an aggressive content strategy with all our products and brands." In other words, GM will not pay Facebook for ads but will continue to maintain content, for which Facebook doesn't collect revenue. News of the decision was reported in The Wall Street Journal. But GM's position is far from universal.
