1936 – 1939 CHRIS CRAFT 6 GAUGE DASH PANEL 1932 FORD SCTA WOODEN BOAT Hey guys…3wLarry here from the Hamb. Here’s a neat little item for you Wooden Boat and Hot Rod guys to play with. It looks like an original 1939 Chris Craft Deluxe 6 gauge boat dash panel, …but it’s not…I’ll explain… Chris Craft didn’t make their own gauge panels. They bought them from outside vendors like Stewart Warner, AC, etc. A panel identical to this one is shown in Chris Craft’s 1939 sales brochure. Various companies besides Chris Craft also bought these gauge panels for their commercial vehicles, etc. I think that is where this dash came from…and it is from 1936-1939…Hot Rodders also used this dash panel back then. If you need a Chris Craft panel like this one, but don’t want to spend the $2200 for a reproduction piece…here you go. I sent pics of this panel to Mark Clawson at Classic Instrumentation, and he said he could restore it to work perfectly in a wooden boat…he even makes the gauges for it. If you’re a Traditional Hot Rodder looking for a rare and unique dash panel for your period perfect Roadster or Coupe that no one else has, …here you go. Dimensions are identical to an original Chris Craft panel… 19 ½” wide, 6 ¼” tall at the center. The two larger holes are 2 7/8”. The four smaller holes are 2 3/8”…outer bezel is made from chrome plated brass with a 2 piece steel insert. The $5K Datsun Go is a go in India
Wed, 19 Mar 2014Sales of Datsun cars officially restarted Wednesday after the brand's 30-year dormancy, with the first cars being delivered in India. Datsun of India announced pricing of the new Go hatchback, which is aimed at developing countries: Buyers in India will be able to purchase the Go for 312,270 rupees, which works out to about $5,091. The front-wheel-drive Go is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Peugeot 908 RC concept

Despite a three-box profile, the 5.5-liter V12 diesel engine is located behind passengers, putting out 700PS. Transversely mounted with a wide V angle, the engine still allows space for four occupants, with a trunk accessed via a motorised opening.
