A very nice vintage dome light from the 30s and or 40s in good sound condition, no bends breaks or cracks. The lens and bezel are clean and nice as well as the housing, will need to be repaired as far as the electrical goes, has some parts and the socket is present. Not sure of the correct application but will work on several years makes and models, has the chevron design on the lens so I'm thinking Ford or Chevrolet but I'm not sure. Ask any questions and be sure to look at my other listings, thanks!

Runaway ostrich causes traffic chaos

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Rush hour in the town of Tunbridge Wells took a humorous turn yesterday when a runaway ostrich shot past cars at speeds of over 40mph, with a clear disregard for road conditions, traffic and speed limits. Alarmingly, the rogue bird is still on the run from police and there are fears it could cause carnage in the town centre, as the RSCPA warns fully-grown ostriches max out at around 60mph. On Bing: see pictures of runaway ostriches Cars named after animals If the ostrich were to collide with an individual, its lack of crumple zones means the pedestrian could be badly injured and, as far we’re aware, ostriches are yet to be put through strict Euro NCAP crash tests.

MG6 Launch revives Morris Garages moniker

Sun, 22 Nov 2009

The new MG6 gets badged 'Morris Garages'. Life has not been easy over the last few years for MG. Or should I say what remains of MG after the debacle of the ‘Phoenix Four’ who took over MG Rover from BMW for a token £10 – and £425 million in working capital to boot – and set about selling off the rights to MG to the Chinese in the form of SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation).

Video: Hennessey Venom GT now unofficial fastest production car

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The Hennessey Venom GT hit its top speed of 270.49 mph last week at the Kennedy Space Center, edging out the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport's previous 269.86 mph record. Hennessey and Bugatti have been battling for the top spot of "fastest production car in the world," and this time America came out on top. Hennessey attempted a record run in 2013, reaching a top speed of 265.7 mph before running out of room on the 2.9-mile-long runway at the Naval Air Station in California.
