OVINTAGE ENGINE CRANK HANDLE,
EXTRA LONG for TRUCKS
★ To Hand Start Your 1930's -1940's Vintage Vehicle ★
Used to Hand Start Vintage Vehicles ~ Nice & STRAIGHT !!!
(Extra LONG 32-1/2" overall length & 3/4" diameter for use on many pickups & panel trucks)
• This is a really hard to find 100% 70+/- year old item for your 1930's vehicle - this inserts through your crank hole cover on your vehicle to engage the jaw nut on the front of your engine (see photo illustration a MoPar jaw nut). The 2 opposing pins at the end engage the jaw nut & then slips out once the engine turns over. Item is used to hand start a vintage vehicle and is made of 3/4" diameter solid bar stock with well defined pins at tip (see close-up photos of the tip); pins on tip end are nice and are NOT deformed. The long end shaft is dead straight (not bent).
~ Measurements: See photos for complete detailed dimensions of this overall 32½" long engine crank handle.
~ Hefty Tool, weighs a over 5 Lbs, & made of 3/4" diameter bar stock
(vs. lighter weight 5/8" diameter bar stock for cars). Cross pins extend 1-1/8" across, tip-to-tip as shown in photo.
~ Many CRISP close-up photos of this roughly 70+ year old item (see close-up photo)
• Item is EXACTLY AS SHOWN IN CRISP PHOTOS: please see photos for dimensions to evaluate fit to your vehicle & to evaluate the reach from your grill front to your engine's jaw nut. Item is smooth to the touch with very light pebbling from the casting & shelf wear marks from prior use (see close-up photos). Has older black paint that is still glossy (as shown clearly in close-up photos). Absolutely NO rust. This item is dead-straight, absolutely no bends and has mild wear in the paint finish from 70+ years of prior storage/use. Pronged tip appears in excellent shape (see close-up photos of tip & straight shaft to evaluate for yourself) . . . basically, item shows no signs of prior use (guessing it spent its life in a tool box).
