This is a genuine Ford Auscolift  automobile jack. Found on Ford cars of the 30s-40s era.  This jack was purchased from an elderly gentlemans' large collection of vintage car jacks, (I purchased around 200 of them!) and these beauties are in fine condition. These genuine jacks were stored inside a dry outbuilding, not in the boot of a car. They were out of the moisture (the reason the some of the OEM  paint is still there).   As found and has not even been properly cleaned. It will be better than the pictures indicate with no damage at all. I ran the jack all the way up and all the way down with no slipping at all as, the mech is perfect. It is ready for use except for a weld on the top where the jack fits into the bumper brace (see picture 3).  (judges appreciate originals with original patina more and more these days) I utilized an OEM, jack in in the sale of my 1955 Jaguar MK-VIIM sedan and believe the OEM tools actually helped sell the car a few years ago. My Jag was sold to a real Jaguar enthusiast from Denmark. Doesn't your prized collector Ford deserve this great finishing touch? Get it now as originals are getting harder and harder to find. Have you priced any ORIGINAL lately?                         Your reward for the small repair and cleanup is FREE shipping in the U.S.A.

BMW M3 saloon (2007) revealed

Sun, 07 Oct 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 07 October 2007 12:01 I don’t know what to say… Say thank you. It’s been nearly ten years since the last four-door M3 so it’s strange to see BMW’s most famous M-car with four doors again. However, we best get used to seeing this shape on our roads because BMW hopes to sell over 100,000 E92 M3s.

The new A-Class caught on video on Lanzarote The 2012 Mercedes A-Class will launch at Geneva next month, and we have the first undisguised video and photo of the new A-Class. Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed that the new 2012 Mercedes A-Class will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it’s the five-door A-Class that will hit the road first. Which means Mercedes are out shooting footage for the launch of the A-Class, and a sharp-eyed cyclist has managed to grab a brief bit of footage of the new A-Class on the road to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote as Mercedes went about their work.

First Sight: BMW 4 Series

Mon, 17 Jun 2013

Within BMW, it was an ongoing discussion for two decades: what to call the coupé version of the 3 Series? With the new model pictured here, the advocates of change got it their way. The proliferation of models most likely tipped the scales – besides the 3 Series sedan, there is the Touring, the 'Gran Turismo' and the China-only long-wheelbase version.
