Ocala, Florida, United States
Condition:Used

Up for auction is a super cool set of 16 inch x 6:00 wheels and period tires, with front and rear pre-1925 Model T Ford hubs welded as centers! The rear brake drums are 8 inches in outside diameter. These would have been made in the late 1930s or 1940s when someone built a sprint car or race car out of a Model T Ford frame and axles, and either used a Ford T or A engine or some other motor in the Ford Frame. This was very common in home built or amateur cars built after World War Two by mechanics and returning solders. All four wheels and hubs are solid and usable. Pickup only, as the wheels are VERY heavy! They can be stored until pickup, but must be paid for at end of auction. These are for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Subaru Impreza Concept at LA

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The Subaru Impreza Concept revealed at LA Motor Show A new Subaru Impreza – or the Subaru Impreza Concept, to be precise – is not something we had on the radar for the Los Angeles Motor Show. In fact the only thing we really had on the radar for Subaru was perhaps the Subota Coupe; certainly not a new Impreza. Subaru aren’t calling the Impreza Concept the new Impreza, but I think we’ll assume there’s a clue in the name.

Bugatti Galibier could get 1400hp

Tue, 21 Aug 2012

The Bugatti Galibier – Bugatti’s four door saloon – is still on the way and could get as much as 1400hp. It’s three years since the Bugatti Galibier first arrived on the scene, since when we’ve had rumour and counter rumour about when, or indeed if, Bugatti’s four-door supercar saloon would go in to production. But the production of the Galibier has never really been in doubt, although it was never likely to happen until the Veyron was on its last knockings.

Tyre kickers cost industry millions

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

CUSTOMERS who have no intention of buying a used car are costing dealers millions of pounds every year in wasted time and lost purchases. By taking up the time of sales staff and keeping them away from genuine buyers, so called ‘tyre kickers’ soak up time touring showrooms and asking questions. Some will even take a test drive while having no intention to buy a car.
