One sheet of paper, printed on both sides, with two folds, opens to a poster style display. Cars illustrated are: Sedan, Sport Roadster, Business Coupe, Phaeton, and Special Coupe. Very minor soiling. Includes specifications, and highlights of the engine.

The eBay description says it all: "Vauxhall Magnum with an Aston Martin DBS V8 twin turbo engine fitted. DBS running gear, raced between 1973 and 1981." If that doesn't get the high octane petrol running through your veins, nothing will. It's called the John Pope Special and it started life as two cars - an accident damaged Aston Martin DBS V8 and a Vauxhall Magnum donated by Vauxhall.

Not only are there endless press releases for the news the car makers want you to know about, but there’s an even more endless stream of feeds coming in to make sure we miss nothing. Throw in all the car makers’ web sites, their press sites, their Facebook pages, their Twitter feeds and their YouTube channels – never mind keeping up with those who might just know something the rest of the world doesn’t yet know – and it’s a full-time job for a team of people before a story even gets written.
