Around April 12, I have a friend heading to Illinois, down to Mississippi, back up to Illinois, on to Pennsylvania, and up to New York before heading back to Montana with stops in Michigan and Wisconsin. He is willing to deliver this box anywhere along his route for $100 as long as he does not have to go very far from the Interstate Highway system. This is the very hard to find "wide box" for a later 1931 Model A Ford pickup truck. This larger and taller version was introduced around June of 1931 at about the same time Ford started using a steel top on the pickup and truck closed cab bodies. This box is quite similar to the 1932 pickup box except the 1932 version does not have the very distinctive curved arch at the top of the front panel. The worst part of this box has to be the floor that is rusted through in some places. If you have any idea where to get a better or reproduction floor, please let me know so I can post a note here. Alfa Romeo 8C, Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo recalled
Mon, 20 May 2013Owners of 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroportes, 2008 GranTurismos, and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C should expect to hear from dealers soon as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall this past week. The recall is for tie-rod ends that have insufficient corrosion protection, which then leads to rust and weakening of the units. This unit could fail completely, causing the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
BMW to build plug-in hybrid sports coupe

The futuristically styled plug-in hybrid was first revealed at the Frankfurt motor show in 2009. It is set to undergo an accelerated development program that aims to place the low-slung four-seater on sale in all of BMW's key world markets, including North America, by October 2013.
