1932 1933 1934 1935 1936 1937 1938 Ford Chevy Mopar Door Hinge Mirror Spotlight on 2040-parts.com
Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, US
This is an old spotlight and side mirror combination. Looks like it would go in the upper door hinge on cars from the thirties. I don't see any manufacturer name on it. The chrome still has a decent shine with just a little age wear. The condition of the chrome can be seen in the pictures. I don't see any dents or dings. The glass looks pretty good with just some minor scratch or two. The on/off switch seems to move good. It has a bulb and reflector type light. The front measures 4 inches across total. Glass lens over bulb is about 3 and 1/2 inches across. The mirror is 3 and 1/4 inches. This light looks used very little. Not many like this around. I SHIP USPS TO USA ONLY.

McLaren P1 Track confirmed as McLaren Automotive goes in to profit
Wed, 04 Jun 2014McLaren are building a track version of the P1 (pictured) for P1 customers only It’s only three years since McLaren Automotive entered the hugely competitive market for high-end supercars (well, it’s four years, but only three since the first 12C went to a customer), but it’s already in profit. McLaren made an operating profit in 2013 of £12.4 million (and a pre-tax of £4.4 million) on sales of £284.4 million and did so – as predicted – by hitting their sales targets – McLaren sold 1359 12Cs and 36 of the McLaren P1 hypercar. And that looks to be just the start.

Tomorrow’s world: future petrol engine tech news
Mon, 28 Sep 2009By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 28 September 2009 14:15 Petrol engines are changing dramatically. You’ll have heard of the phrase 'downsizing' and most major manufacturers are shrinking their regular gasoline engines to trim emissions and fuel consumption – while employing new tech to keep up the horsepower and torque outputs. This is the holy grail for engineers: maintain the power and performance of the existing big capacity engines we’ve become wedded to, but in a smaller, more economical package.
