Red Led Tail Light Inserts (2) Here is a your chance to update your tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! Remove your old lens and bulb, insert the socket and put the screw back in. These tail lights have 21 super bright red led's and the license plate light has 4 white leds. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. All the led's light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. These appear stock until you look close. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. Ford creates ‘driver workload estimator’ to reduce driver distraction
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Ford researchers have created a ‘driver workload estimator’ help reduce driver distraction by filtering infotainment and communication distractions. Researchers at Ford are working on a system that would use information submitted by the vehicle and the driver's body to prioritize what information can be displayed and at what time. With the ever-increasing demand for advanced infotainment systems, the chance of driver distraction has also risen as more displays and controls are integrated into the latest models.

Take William Drew, who had a close encounter with pony car history when he saw the Mustang I concept, plus a rare Ghia-bodied Shelby Cobra concept, at an auto dealer in Dallas in 1970. His slides (taken with a Yashica camera, he notes) show the unusual cars in the nice, bright colors of Kodachrome.
Ford Focus BEV (Electric) Frankfurt reveal
Thu, 17 Sep 2009The Ford Focus BEV Proitotype has been revealed at Frankfurt Ford are intent on bringing an electric car to the market as soon as possible, and intend starting trials of the Focus BEV in the New Year. The Focus BEV has been developed to participate in the ‘Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles’ ( a real misnomer) demonstration next year. The Focus BEV is driven by a 100KW electric motor which is powered by a 23kwh lithium-ion battery pack developed by Vauxhall’s new owner, Magna.
