A PAIR of new old replacement stock Rear Axle Oil / Grease Seals (Outer I believe) that fit:

PACKARD:

1933 1934 - 12 Cylinder - 1005, 1006, 1107, 1108

1935 1936 - 12 Cylinder - 1207, 1208, 1407, 1408

My parts catalog says "RO" for the applications listed. I believe that is Rear Axle - Outer. These are in a Fel-Pro box, but were manuf by Universal Corp. They were probably a "rebox" item a whole bunch of years ago. Two required per car.

ID = 2-1/8"
Width = 1/2"

I verified those measurements listed in the catalog with actual dimensions.

A MIDDLESBOROUGH Seat dealership has won a national competition to design a new 'special edition' Leon hatchback just by using the existing customisation options... and a bit of creative thinking. Jennings Seat won Seat UK's inaugural 'King of Leon' contest with its blue and black Leon FR that has been dubbed the 'S-Tech'.

New Jaguar XJR will see the end of the XJ SuperSport

The launch of the new 2013 Jaguar XJR at the New York Auto Show this week heralds the end of the line for Jaguar’s other Supercharged V8 XJ – the SuperSport. With a much more fulsome 542bhp, some very ‘Jaguar’ go-faster bits, some proper fettling to make the steering, gearbox and suspension focus more on the drive without making a mess of the ride and altogether more dynamism in prospect than the SuperSport, we’d assumed Jaguar were making the XJR the performance pinnacle of the XJ range and leaving the SuperSport in place as the ‘luxury’ alternative. With that thought in mind we’d expected to see Jaguar push the price of the new XJR up towards the XJ Ultimate (which costs £121,000), so count us gobsmacked when Jaguar revealed the new XJR will cost from £92,335 – just £500 more than the SuperSport.

Holden reveals VF Commodore SS V before Chevy SS bows

General Motors’ Australian arm, Holden, revealed the new VF Commodore SS V before its brother-in-arms, the Chevy SS, gets revealed this weekend at Daytona. The show car is finished in a color named Fantale orange metallic. Unfortunately, Holden and GM kept hidden the most exciting parts of the new full-size, rear-drive platform: the engine and price.
