You are looking at a pair of original 1933 Plymouth headlights for a long wheel base (PD) car. These are very difficult to find in good shape as the long wheel base buckets are usually damaged from opening and closing the hood. This pair are slightly dented but are repairable. One headlight shell has two some small dents and a small tear at the back but should be easily repairable. The other bucket has some cracks at the base of the shell but no holes. Both buckets have bezels, reflectors, sockets for bulbs and original glass lenses. The lenses don't appear to have any chips or cracks. Italdesign to unveil fast but frugal hybrid car at Geneva motor show
Tue, 24 Feb 2009Italdesign Giugiaro will unveil a concept for a fast but fuel efficient hybrid coupe at the Geneva auto show. The Italian design and engineering company says the two-seater can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph) and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4 seconds. The still unnamed concept will travel 117 miles on a gallon of gasoline, Italdesign says.
The Best Diesel Car…in the World!
Fri, 10 May 2013So when Diesel Car Magazine proclaims its winners each year it’s something car buyers are likely to take notice of next time they’re in the market for a new car, so it’s worth having a look at what came out on top. The VW Golf Mk 7 TDI took the gong for the best diesel car of 2013 (as well as best Medium diesel car), snatching the award out of the hands of Land Rover”s Range Rover Evoque, which won in 2012 (and wins best crossover diesel this year). Many of the cars that won an award have been on the list of winners before – like the Jaguar XF which is the best executive diesel for the fifth time and the Land Rover Discovery 4 which makes best diesel 4×4 for the fourth time – but there are new winners too with the Kia Cee’d Sportswagon winning best estate and the Ford B-Max grabbing the gong for best diesel MPV.
