This sale is for USED ORIGINAL 1934 1935 AND EARLY 1936 FORD CONCOURSE CORRECT FUEL PUMP shown.  THIS IS THE 40 - 9350  SMALL BOWL FUEL PUMP AS ORIGINALLY USED ON THESE CARS.  THIS PUMP HAS THE OFFSET OUTLET OPENING AND THE SLOTTED HEX NUT DRAIN PLUG.  THESE ORIGINAL PUMPS ARE VERY RARE TODAY AND THE STARTING BID IS FAR LESS THAN THESE PUMPS ARE USUALLY OFFERED AT.  THIS ONE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REBUILT IN THE PAST AND IT PUMPS AND SUCKS WHEN MOVING THE ACTUATOR.   I AM SELLING IT IN AS-IS CONDITION BUT IT ACTUALLY MAY WORK AND CAN BE USED AS IS.    PLEASE BE CERTAIN THAT THIS FUEL PUMP IS CORRECT FOR YOUR APPLICATION AS THIS IS AN AS-IS AUCTION.  Please let me prepare invoice with lowest cost shipping choice before sending in payment as Ebay calculated shipping charges are usually too high.   Sales tax will be added to all items delivered within California.   Contact me for more information on other shipping options.   Please use the Ebay feature "Ask Seller A Question"  if you  need further info.

Hyundai has revealed the three door version of the new i30 ahead of a debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new Hyundai i30 range continues to grow with the i30 3-door joining the 5-door hatch and i30 Tourer, and bringing with it a more stylish look. The 3-door i30 – we want to call it the i30 Coupe – gets a sharply-raked beltline and a more angular glasshouse with longer front doors, and looks a lot more sleek than its five-door sibling.

CAR’s £1000 support for upcoming journalists – in honour of Phil Llewellin

The Phil Llewellin Student Journalist of the Year award will go to the best student writer from the motoring journalism courses at Coventry and Cardiff Universities. The winner receives £1000 and also a work experience placement at CAR magazine, whose pages were graced by Phil Llewellin’s work until his untimely death in 2005. Entries for the award, run by the Guild of Motoring Writers, must be received by 30 September, with the winner announced at the RAC Club in London on 5 December.

BMW confirms its hiring of former Opel product chief Frank Weber

BMW AG confirmed it has hired Frank Weber, former head of product planning at General Motors Co.'s Opel/Vauxhall unit. Weber will become head of vehicle architecture and integration at BMW, a spokesman for the premium carmaker told Automotive News Europe today. The spokesman did not give details of when Weber will start at BMW.
