A very nice and very hard to find restored 1935 1936 Ford Ash Tray open and closed car radio model FT-6. It is original 6-volt positive ground. This is single unit receiver with the excellent original enclosed speaker and it plays and functions well overall. It is ready to install. Please read description for more details.

This is a very nice and rare restored 1935 1936 Ford Ash Tray open car radio manufactured by Philco (model FT-6). It is original 6-volt positive ground and is also correct for all closed cars including woody's. This single unit receiver has the enclosed original electro-magnetic speaker which is excellent with new correct Ford script grille cloth and the radio is ready to install. Servicing and restoration included a thorough cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors, replacement of necessary resistors, tested and great working original large vibrator, new clutch, alignment, a new fuse link with new fuse and a new Motorola type antenna plug to accommodate the modern antenna. The radio plays and sounds great with good sound quality from the excellent original speaker. Cosmetically the radio is in excellent condition with a new coat of correct black wrinkle paint like original and a new Ford script speaker grille cloth that looks really nice as the pictures show. Please be sure to take advantage of the zoom feature for a better view of this very nice original radio that plays well with good sound and strong volume and is ready to install. This very hard to find restored radio will be a very nice addition to your classic 1935-36 Ford!
