This is a quality original 1936 Dodge D2 coupe or sedan rolling chassis.  Car had 30,600 actual miles.

Good, solid, straight frame, never wrecked or damaged.  Unmolested condition.  Nice original leaf springs, steering components and brake drums.  Steers and rolls easily.  Very good rear end assembly.

Frame has some light surface rust in areas and some typical pitting on outside area of frame where the rocker panels cover.

Saab to get BMW turbocharged engines in 2012

Saab Automobile and BMW AG announced an agreement Wednesday that will supply engines for Saab's next-generation 9-3. Under the agreement, BMW will provide Saab with four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engines starting in 2012. The engines will be adapted to meet Saab's specific requirements.
