Here is a pair of front fender brackets from a 1936 Dodge Truck. They might fit a 1935 also, I'm not sure. They are rusty and crusty but there are no rust through holes. One bolt hole on each looks like it was cut with a torch at some time over the years. (see pictures) They would need some work to clean them up. Nissan launches UK Clay Modeling Apprentice Program

Nissan has launched a Clay Modeling Apprentice Program in the UK, designed to recruit skilled clay modelers to boost the UK's position in global vehicle design. Business Secretary Vince Cable and Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer were present at the launch – held at Nissan's London-based European Design Center – of a scheme that aims to address the national shortage of clay modelers. Palmer explains, "Clay modeling is an integral part of the design process and vital in helping the design team visualize ideas.

BMW M7 coming after all?

Despite BMW’s stating they will never make an M7, BMW’s American boss Ludwig Willisch says it will happen. Three years ago the BMW ‘M’ anoraks got excited when they thought BMW was about to produce a range-topping M7, but it turned out the photos that elicited their excitement were simply a 7 Series with an M Sport pack bolted on. In answer to the M-anorak’s disappointment BMW pointed out – very sensibly in our view – that the market for an M7 would be tiny and that you could already have a 760i M Sport with a stunning V12 and 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds.

BMW 4-series configurator goes live

The configurator for the 2014 BMW 4-series is live at www.bmwusa.com. Potential buyers can check out the new coupe and flip between 12 colors, two engines and three main trim levels. We first saw the BMW 4-series concept in Detroit back in January and we took a deeper look in June.
