Mitsubishi Outlander GT
Fri, 03 Apr 2009The Mitsubishi Outlander GT will show at the New York Motor Show [ad#ad-1] The picture above is the Mitsubishi Outlander GT Concept (which is not a Photoshop mis-hap – just another version of a car maker’s ‘tease’ image, this time blurred). This is Mitsubishi’s efforts to make the Outlander more appealing, and from what we can see it’s taken a design cue from the Lamborghini Reventon, by putting a ‘Stealth Fighter’ nose on the front. Actually, as a blurred image, the front end does look a little reminiscent of the Lagonda Concept we saw at Geneva last month.
Cadillac Escalade drivers shouldn't have passengers up front
Tue, 20 May 2014It seems like every day General Motors is adding to its already extensive list of recalls. This makes 2014 a tough year for the automaker, bringing the total number of safety recalls up to 29. Today's recall is for the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia full-size crossovers from 2009-2014 and Saturn Outlooks from 2009-2010.
Cheap mods: Adventures In Aspect Ratios
Fri, 16 May 2014Seven years ago, I bought a rough-looking-but-good-running 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback, for use as a gas-sipping alternative to my daily-driver P71 Crown Victoria. These days, it's the car I drive when it snows in Denver, and it's a reliable all-around beater. The EG Civic (as the 1992-95 Civic hatchback was designated by the factory) has become a much-sought-after classic in recent years, sort of the '55 Chevy of the early 21st century, and there's such a vast array of factory and aftermarket performance hardware available that I haven't been able to resist the idea of doing some power and suspension upgrades.
