For Sale is a set of 1937-1942 Ford Flathead V-8 Pistons & Rings, N.O.S., part # 01T-6108-D and 01TS-6149-C. They are new original Ford, still in the original Box. The Rings have never been opened. These are .030 overbore. They are for the 3 1/6" engines. They are Aluminum, 4-Ring, Domed Pistons. The Pistons have 01T and "Ford" cast into them. "For most people, it's hard to justify the extra money based on the extra fuel economy" of a combined 3 mpg more than the base model, says Jeff Tuckman, the dealership's inventory manager. "You've got the base LS model sitting next to it that's just as nice and luxurious." It's a problem flagged by many Chevy dealers.
