1937-39 Chevrolet 216 stovebolt six main bearing shim lot (front & rear shims only) - National shim kits #'s 2159 & 2161. Each package contains a 1/32 thick brass shim set, made up of a stack of .002 shims, the outer edge is bound so they won't curl or come apart until you peel them open. National calls them 'multi leaf construction". This allows you to add or remove layers to get the perfect fit on the old school poured babbit bearings.  Pretty tough to find nowadays. These are PERFECT.... Fits Master, Standard, pickups up to 1-1/2 ton. - anything using the Chevy 6. Actually, shim sets 2159 (front main) fit 1937-46, -- 2641 (rear main) fits 1937-39 only. 2014 Subaru Outback Facelift gets new engine and gearbox combo But with the world getting used to crossovers, Subaru think now’s the time to make the Outback look a little more glossy, so they’ve decided to paint what was plastic cladding for the 2014 model year. Other exterior titivations include some new colour choices - Deep Sea Blue Pearl and Dark Grey Metallic – with bigger fog lights and gloss black finish to the headlamps and a gunmetal finish for the alloys. Inside, the Outback gets new, more modern, instruments with an LCD cluster and some new material choices for the dashboard elements with black metallic panels making things seem a bit more modern.

Final designs for the 2025 Highway Patrol Vehicle from worldwide design studios are in for the Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge. Design studios from BMW DesignWorksUSA, General Motors, Honda North America, Honda Japan, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru are fighting it out to be honored in the annual contest by showcasing their creativity and talent. This year's Design Challenge asked automotive design studios to create a highway patrol vehicle for 2025 that tackled the ‘protect and serve' aspect while considering emissions, population growth and transportation infrastructure.

The new top of the range Ford Fiesta Titanium Individual Despite the success – or perhaps because of it – Ford are having a play around with the Fiesta range and adding a new model at the top – the Fiesta Titanium Individual. The new Fiesta lineup now consists of Studio, Edge, ECOnetic, Zetec, Titanium and Zetec S, with the Individual standing at the top. The Studio now comes as either a three or five doors and gets electric windows thrown in; the new Edge range gets AirCon as standard as does the ECOnetic (something we asked for when we did the Fiesta ECOnetic review – Ford must have been listening again?
