Listing here is for 1 (One) only your choice of these handles.  We have gotten this style handle in several times listed or from 1937 or 1938 Chrysler trunk and find there are some slight differences.  We have not been able to determine whether one or the other style originated on 1937 or 1938 Chrysler, perhaps the difference was from differing manufacturing plants.  The shafts are drilled and thread tapped on the end with the shafts measurements the same on both handles.  Shaft length from under escutcheon to end is barely under 2 1/2 inches.   Might apply to other MOPAR (Plymouth/Dodge/DeSoto) but we don't know about other than Chrysler.  Probably not 1936 as most 1936 MOPAR apparently had the trunk lock in the handle.  Might apply to 1939 1940 etc. later but those later we have seen seemed to have different pattern.  Check your application closely before bidding.

Notice in the pictures that one handle is slightly smaller than the other.  Also note that the escutcheons differ slightly in that one is flat at the mount holes to the door while the other has a tapered escutcheon out to the actual handle..  The flat escutcheon appears to be pot-metal, while the tapered escutcheon appears to be pressed tin.  Choice of handles is yours so compare to your original to decide which handle seems most appropriate for your application.
E-Mail questions.  PayPal available and required by me from bid winner outside the U.S.A.  Winner pays $8.00 USPS Parcel S&H and $1.00 Insurance within continental U.S.A.  Outside the U.S. e-Mail with complete delivery address (not just country) for shipping calculation.  Returns only allowed for items delivered not as described in its listing.

Nissan Design Europe has announced that it will be participating to the 2009 London Design Festival, but the Japanese automaker will not be showing a new vehicle. Under the theme of 'East meets West: the cultural crossroads of creativity', the exhibition aims to celebrate the cross-pollination of creative industries in London, and the Japanese automaker will open some areas of its Paddington-based design studio for installations from other artists and designers.

Jaguar XF 2.2D 163 PS - less powerful XF launched Jaguar has announced a lower powered version of the new XF 2.2 Diesel with 163PS which goes on sale immediately from £29,950. But having bitten the bullet on an entry-level XF, Jaguar has now done it in spades by revealing an entry-entry-level XF – the Jaguar XF 2.2D 163PS.

The BMW M5 is back!

Mon, 04 Apr 2011

BMW's M division has gone back to the drawing board with the M5, giving the fifth generation of the iconic four-door a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine—the first time Munich's class-defining performance sedan has gone without a naturally aspirated powerplant since its introduction in 1984. Further changes see it adopt a dual-clutch gearbox as part of a complete driveline rethink that resigns the old model's sequential manual transmission to the history books. Revealed here officially for the first time, the new M5 is planned to make its world debut in concept-car guise at the Shanghai motor show later this month.
