This is a totally rebuilt 1937-39 Ford V8-60 engine...all work was done by Richard Willim....the authority on rebuilding the "Thrifty Sixty" engine. Richard wrote the only book ever written on this baby flathead V8. I have the build sheet on this engine including hot tank, magma flux of block, crank and rods, regrind valves and seats, new solid lifters, new pistons, rings, bearings, rebuilt water pumps, new camshaft, valve springs and complete assembly with all new gaskets. The engine is painted the original factory green color. Add a carburetor, distributor, plug wires, fuel pump, starter, generator and exhaust manifolds and the engine is ready to run.

Purchasing this engine is better than a factory rebuild back in the day. This engine will make 70-80 horsepower due to the special improvements Richard Willim incorporates in every rebuild.

$500 Paypal deposit due within 2 days from winning bidder. Money order preferred for the balance within 7 days from close of auction.

This is a rare opportunity to own the best!

Engine shipping quotes are available from www.freightquotes.com and www.engineshipping.com. Use zip code 15658 and class 72 when obtaining quotes.. I can also take the engine to a trucking terminal in the Pittsburgh area where it would be strapped to a pallet and covered in bubble wrap.

Please be sure to see all the photos! Good luck in bidding!

BRITISH sports car maker Caterham has announced a new low- priced version of its long-running Seven model. Dubbed the Seven 160, the new model starts at a measly £14,995 in component form or £17,995 fully built. Under the bonnet there is a turbocharged 660cc Suzuki engine and although this only offers up a modest 80bhp, that's still enough to power the lightweight Seven from 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds.

Meet the new Mercedes-Benz SL400

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

This is our first photo of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SL400 luxury roadster, a model that effectively replaces the SL350 as part of a series of subtle changes brought to the SL lineup. The move aims to goose sales of the luxury roadster two years after it first hit showrooms. The SL400 is powered by Mercedes-Benz's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 direct-injection gasoline engine unveiled in the E400 early last year.
