45 Led Tail Lights "Stainless Steel Housings" Here is a your chance to update your stop/tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! All 45 red led's light up for tail and all get brighter for stop/turn. The left side has 6 white led's for the license plate light. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. Cork gasket. These appear stock until you look close. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. The listing is for both sides. There are no design surprises: the bodysides are curvy and more crisply pressed, the rear lamps supersized, otherwise the floating roof, wraparound chrome piping and wheel-at-each corner stance are all present and correct. ‘We need to be careful,’ BMW Group design director Adrian van Hooydonk told CAR.
