MADE TO ORDER. Made in the USA, with over 35 years of experience, from premium heavy-duty aluminized steel. Made to exact factory specs. Will fit original equipment. Includes exhaust pipe, muffler & tailpipe. Exhaust pipe has the 4-bolt welded flange. 1947 Custom 8 stainless steel pictured for illustration purposes. Our mufflers are 14 gauge round shells.   Each muffler has double reinforced recessed end caps with 2 baffle plates.  To reinforce the baffles, we use 2 baffles equal to 3” of straight –through flow.   This construction is an improvement over the 1 baffle straight-through original design, which depended on asbestos to achieve a quiet sound.   There is a lot of work constructing a muffler this way that you do not see.   The result is an original sound like the NOS asbestos packed mufflers   Our competition welds up mufflers that look & sound like tin-cans.

Fits 1937-9 SUPER 8 1940-50 356 ENGINE

Jaguar C-X16 gets a name today (and it won’t be Jaguar XE)

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

The Jaguar C-X16 gets a production name today Jaguar will reveal the name for the C-X16 to day at the New York Auto Show  - and it won’t be XE - signalling the way forward for Jaguar nomenclature. Update: It’s the Jaguar F-Type! Last week Jaguar told us they had some exciting news to reveal at the New York Motor Show and, although we’d hope for a nice new Jaguar reveal, it looks like the news will be the production name for the Jaguar C-X16 and the news it will arrive in showrooms in 2013 first of all as a roadster.

Aston Martin launches Centenary Editions of DB9, Vantage, Vanquish & Rapide

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Aston Martin celebrates its centenary with Centenary Edition versions of their entire range featuring special paint finish and bespoke interiors. One hundred years ago today, Aston Martin arrived as Bamford & Martin as Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford formed the company which would, just a year later, become Aston Martin, and to celebrate the centenary Aston Martin is creating 100 Centenary Editions of each of its model range (although not, it seems, the Cygnet). All the centenary Edition cars (V8 Vantage, DB9, Rapide and Vanquish) will feature a unique graduated paint finish and get adorned with solid sterling silver wing badges (don’t park your Centenary Edition Aston Martin in a public car park with the current price of silver) with tailored ‘Trans Flux’ enamel inlay.

Trailer full of 2014 Corvette Stingrays spotted on the road

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

If you're a Corvette fanatic dying to take delivery of that C7 you've placed an order on, take heart: There's a vehicle transporter laden with 10 (or is it 11?) 2014 Stingray coupes roaming the American southwest. Submitted by Autoweek reader Dan Becker, the photo doesn't tell us much about the car, but at this point we're all fairly well-versed in the details. Two different five-spoke wheels are visible -- most are black but we see at least one shiny set -- but beyond that, nothing is visible; the cars' tight wrappings don't even betray a sliver of the colors underneath.
