“This is the cylinder head removed from a 1949 Chevrolet Styleline with a 216 six cylinder engine. Casting number is 3835409. It has been taken to be fluxed for cracks and has come back as a good head with no cracks. Will still need to be machined and a valve job. Date code is F 6 9.”

Nissan Murano lineup will get a convertible

In a move certain to divide consumers into love-it/hate-it groups, Nissan Motor Co. will introduce a convertible version of its Murano crossover next year. The crossover, which already has a polarizing bulky rear-end design, will be offered as a two-door with a droptop, company officials confirm.
