This is I think a 1947 model ,that was what I was told,I got this engine from a friend in a trade ,has been in his garage for years.1937-1948 are the same engine. The engine was stuck when I got it . I took the pan off oiled cylinders top & bottom, losen rods pecked on bottom of pistons ,turn the flywheel with a bar frist a little to right and then to left. The crank is now lose and turning but the cam was not moving ( I probely broke the gear). This engine needs to be rebuilt. Is an excellent core.Needs oil pan ,has rusted hole in it.We will store the engine at no charge until it can be picked up ,as long as it is paid for 7 days after auction close .We also have a 1952 Pontiac straight 8 engine ,Transmission and lot of 2 dr.parts.Please email questions or call 423-292-0808 .We perfer PayPal but will accept other methods of payment.
