BMW has released details and images of the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 BMW claim the X6 ActiveHybrid as the most powerful Hybrid car in production, with its total power output of 480 horses and 575lb/ft of torque. That’s a bit better than a Prius! All this power comes from the BMW 4.4 litre twin-turbo lump, coupled to a pair of electric motors that deliver 91bhp and 86bhp respectively.

2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid to make 377 hp

The 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. It will feature a new three-motor hybrid system and Acura's torque-vectoring Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive, along with 377 combined hp. The RLX continues with Acura's 3.5-liter V6 making 310 hp with variable cylinder management.

We’ve got the regular Prius and the Toyota Prius+ (and Prius V and plug-in Prius), and now, following the concept reveal at Detroit, we get the Prius City Car – the Toyota Prius C. The Toyota Prius C has leaked out via a brochure scan from Japan and, although European specs may be a bit different, we get the first proper look at Toyota’s baby Prius.
