The GT3 RSR competes in GT2 long-distance races, including Le Mans, Spa and the 24-hour Nurburgring event and will benefit from new aero aids and engineering tweaks. Additional front ‘flicks’ spoilers are added to the front apron and extra air ducts pepper the steel bodywork, while the huge rear wing is carried over from last year’s racer.

Land Rover triggers rumours of ‘Landy’ SUV

Jaguar Land Rover has trademarked the name ‘Landy’, sparking more rumours of a smaller urban SUV based on the Evoque. The new model could possibly feature styling similar to the DC100 concept, and will be a rival to the likes of the BMW X1 and upcoming Audi Q1. Kustom kar kings' Dean Jeffries dead at 80

UPDATED: Dean Jeffries, a contemporary of California's great kustom kar kings in the early 1950s, who would go on to fame making cars for TV and movies, died Sunday, May 5 at 80. Jeffries grew up in Lynwood, Calif., across the street from Indy racer Troy Ruttman and around the corner from Sam and George Barris' shop. He spent his days hanging around the greats: George Cerny, Von Dutch and Big Daddy Roth.
