This is a 1938 Buick Special frame that had been subframed with a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am subframe

It is a very nice Job! It comes with all of the front suspension shown in the pictures. Control arms, spindles, rotors, calipers, steering box, springs, shocks, center link, tie rod ends, etc. Parts are a little rusty from sitting around for years but are all still in usable condition. It also appears that the control arm bushings and possibly the ball joints and rod ends were replaced years ago but never used. I do not have the stock sway bar but do have a new WS6 package 1 1/4" sway bar with urethane bushings that I will throw in for the buy it now price.

It will fit any of the short wheelbase 38 models, coupes, 2-door, 4-door, convertibles

This came with a 38 Coupe that I bought several years ago and was a project that the previous owner had to sell. I sold the original car years ago and was saving this for another 38 project but have been storing it for too long so it must now go.

These make for a real nice ride and I still own & drive a 38 Buick Coupe set up like this frame.

Local pickup only

2013 Mazda CX-9 debuts before Australian show

Tue, 18 Sep 2012

Mazda will fully reveal the 2013 CX-9 SUV at the Australian International motor show in October. It appears that Mazda couldn't wait that long, as the company just released a few images of the redesigned people carrier, which now looks like the big brother to the CX-5. It features the Kodo design language that we've seen at several auto shows, which lends it a sportier look than previous models.

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

2012 Mercedes SL - will have to live without the V12 We haven’t exactly had a glut of stories on the Merceds SL of late. In fact the last story appears to have been a spy shot of the 2012 SL back at the end of 2010. But that’s because the current SL is far from cutting edge and no longer the halo of the Mercedes range.

Hyundai Equus gets a stretched version in South Korea

Tue, 29 Sep 2009

In the luxury game, bigger is better. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that Hyundai has launched a stretched version of the Equus sedan in its home market. It’s called the Equus limousine, and it gets an extra foot added to its wheelbase, stretching the car’s overall length to 215 inches for nearly 18 feet of luxury car.
