1938 Lasalle Grille, Two Emblems Oem, Nice Shiney Chrome, Great For Rat Rod on 2040-parts.com
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
1938 LaSalle one piece grille with two emblems. Shiney chrome but some small pitting in the slats which were never polished but may have been chromed then painted grey.
There are no broken bars or cracks visable from the front but chrome is pitting in a few places, mostly on the slats inside the grille, not on the chrome face. This area is painted grey and hardly shows because the chrome is under the paint. Need to replate if you want perfection but this is very nice, as it is. I have lightly polished with a rag and it shines up pretty well. A professional cloth buffer will bring the shine up better and then maybe clearcoat it to use it as. If you don't need the top or lower emblem bid less and specify which items you are bidding on. I will also be listing 1939 and 1940 LaSalle grilles. These are wall art on my porch and I am renovating. Will be well packed and insured. Weighs about 27 pounds boxed. I will ship however winner wants. |

Thu, 01 Aug 2013Lotus is bouncing back from the five-car plan debacle that saw its CEO Dany Bahar dismissed for professional misconduct, and an ambitious plot to launch a Porsche-slaying five-car range go up in smoke without so much a test mule spy shot. The Norfolk-based outfit has announced today the creation of 103 new jobs to meet rising demand not just for its cars, but the brand’s legendary car set-up skills too. It follows a £100m investment from parent DRB-HICOM earlier in 2013.
Lamborghini Huracan Driving Simulator goes live on Lamborghini’s site
Sat, 22 Mar 2014Lamborghini’s driving simulator for the Huracan (pictured) The Gallardo’s long-awaited replacement – the Lamborghini Huracan – finally arrived just before Christmas after a long and tedious tease. But it was worth the wait and putting up with Lamborghini’s feeble attempts at a viral tease. With looks that draw the Huracan in to the family design of the Aventador, permanent 4WD and 602bhp from its 5.2 litre V10, the Huracan promises a decent fight for the Ferrari 458 and McLaren 12C (or should that be the McLaren 650S?) with 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds and over 200mph.
