Up for auction are these 1939 - 1946 chevy truck Flatbed Stakebed running boards.
These are the Short running boards. These are not for a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup with a box.
These measure 56" long on the outer edge.
The riser measures 4 3/4 " from the tread to top of riser.
RH running board has some little dings/indents on outer rail and a few towards backside end.
Some light grinder marks on backside front near mounting holes.
With minor work these would be a great pair of driver quality running boards.

GM Korea doubles size of its design center
Wed, 30 Apr 2014GM has invested $40million in its Korea Design Center, doubling the size of the facility. The expanded studio opened on 25 April, and will give improved support for both exterior and interior design. As well as more studio space, the upgraded facility now includes improved exterior modeling and 3D printing facilities, an outdoor viewing area with three turntables, and a virtual reality studio – the latter allowing design reviews to take place in real time with GM's network of nine other design centers in six other countries around the world.
Toyota Urban Utility concept embraces maker movement

Called the Urban Utility, or U2, the vehicle is intended to appeal to those who have embraced maker culture - the trend of learning new practical skills, embracing new construction technologies like 3D printing, and applying them in an inventive and often entrepreneurial way. The U2 will be unveiled at the World Maker Faire in New York City on 20 September and was designed at Toyota's Calty studio in Newport Beach, CA.
