Tue, 26 Aug 2014A change of law in 2012 meant that cars registered before 1960 no longer have to pass the yearly test for roadworthiness known as the MOT. However, a new EU directive means that, from 2018, this could be extended to all cars more than 30 years old, as long as they haven’t been substantially modified. Dacia's UK launch postponed

It had planned to launch the cheap 'n' cheerful badge in the UK in February 2009, but that's now gone back a year, the company announced today. CAR was due to drive the Sandero – the UK launch model – in July 2008, but PRs today took the unusual step of ringing the media to cancel the event.

We're not sure whether Edgar "Ned" Wilcox was an enthusiast, but he did the trip--from Traverse City, Mich., to Tacoma, Wash., in 1923, driving a Case Six. The trip took Wilcox and his passengers 18 days, including delays for weather and mechanical issues.
