This listing is for an accessory center bumper guard (also know as a bumper buffer plate) for a 1939 or 1940 Plymouth.  It may fit the Chrysler, Desoto or Dodge of those years also but I do not know that for sure.  This is a used part which is a bit rusty but is in good straight condition without any serious bends or dents.  Overall, it is 12" tall.  It would definitely need chrome plating to look nice.  It will also need 2 carriage  bolts and a mounting plate for installation.  I do not have the mounting plate that goes behind the bumper but I believe you could fabricate it without too much problem.  The mounting plate should have 3 holes, one in the center to attach the mounting plate to the bumper and one above and one below the bumper to attach the guard itself.   I can only display payment by PayPal so please ask if you need other options.  Happy bidding!

Note 1!!  The red stripe in the picture is a stick on pin stripe which I placed in the slight recess on the front of the bumper guard.  Originally there was a painted red stripe.

Note 2!!  I have another bumper guard in NOS condition on another of my listings.  You may see it at dispen78pj.

There was never any doubt that Rolls Royce would take the same route with the Ghost as they have with the Phantom by extending its appeal with a convertible and coupe option.

Driving for a Cause: California man to cross America in ’32 Ford for charity

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

A common rite of passage is the cross-country road trip, the quintessential way for young Americans to get in touch with themselves and their country before the worries and responsibilities of life come calling. But a 59-year-old California man is blitzing the United States for a different reason: charity. Dave Schaub, the founder of a Bay Area meat market, is driving 9,800 miles in nine days--or 216 hours, during which he
