Here is a your chance to add some more class to your Chevrolet Street Rod! These are particularly nice if your housings are beat to death and you want to paint them to match your car. They feature primered steel housings with 17 super bright red led light inserts. All the leds light up for tail light and all get brighter for stop/turn (I sell two versions of signal switches in the store if you need help there). These feature epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics with solid state circuit boards. The mounting base is not flat. It is slightly dished for body contour. They are about 3" by 6 1/2". The listing is for a pair. I do stock the 2 pin and 3 pin led flasher that you will need. This might be the perfect gift or you might need to reward yourself. Go ahead, you deserve it! The Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept (pictured) leaks ahead of its debut The next models in line at Land Rover for a complete makeover are the Freelander and the Discover, both of which are going to be badged Discovery and will be previewed by the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept at the New York Auto Show in a few days. But we already have the first photo of the new Discovery Vision Concept after Jalopnik published it this afternoon. The new Discovery certainly has influences form the new Range Rover, but it also offers more than a passing resemblance to the Ford Explorer – but then the Ford Explorer was plagiarised from Land Rover in the first place, so that’s probably not a real problem.

Geely to buy bankrupt London Taxis

The Chinese press are reporting that Geely are to buy London Taxi maker Manganese Bronze, which went in to liquidation in October. Back in October we reported that Manganese Bronze – makers of the iconic London Taxi – had gone in to administration, finally tipped over the edge by steering box failures in the TX4. After years of under-investment – and a product that has been usurped by both the Mercedes Vito Taxi and the new Nissan NV200 Taxi – it looked like Manganese Bronze had no way back.
