Cut the 1157 plug in off for direct wiring (very small hole to drill) then. They are a sealed waterproof assembly. The circuit boards are epoxy coated. The 17 super bright red leds all light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. They feature the latest reflector lens technology. The Show Chrome bezels are die cast metal. They are just over 3" OD and the machine thread screws are 2 3/4" on center. They are show quality units. We do sell the 2 pin led flasher that you will need. They are 3" x 4 1/2" overall od. No modifications needed here! We now have the molded rubber base gaskets available! This listing is for 2 tail lights as shown. This might be the perfect gift or you might need to reward yourself. BMW's latest internal reshuffle has seen Domagoj Dukec appointed as head of exterior design, Martina Starke as head of color and material design and Oliver Heilmer as head of interior design. Dukec, a Pforzheim graduate, has previously worked for Volkswagen and Citroën where he played a key role in developing a new Citroën aesthetic with the C4 coupé, C5 Airscape, C5 (Mark II), Hypnos and GQ Concept. Since moving to BMW's exterior design team in 2010 he has been credited with the design of the Concept Active Tourer.
