:

This is a completely original, “as-picked” piece I pulled from a large parts buy I made 40+ years ago.

Pictures show condition and here are some additional notable points:

Fuel, Oil, and Ammeter gauges present – temperature gauge is not

Housing and glass bezel have no bends or dents that I can see

Heaviest corrosion is on the back housing (PS - bracket sticking out at the 2:00 O'clock position in the back housing photos is from a part I used to prop up this part for the photo).  Glass bezel chrome is also corroded

Gauge "master" dial face is dirty and has two spots at the 11:00 O’clock position.

Individual bolt-in gauge faces and indicators (Fuel, Oil, and Ammeter) look to be in good condition and look like they would clean up nicely

Glass face is very dirty on the inside (obscures photo quality), but I was not going to disassemble and risk damage.

Volvo V70

Tue, 06 Feb 2007

Volvo has just released details of the all-new Volvo V70 wagon. With its more athletic lines, fast windscreen angle, blacked-out side pillars and C30-inspired taillights, the V70's style is said to hint at its newfound on-road dynamism. The rear end features an unusual design where the tailgate takes the upper area of lamps with it when opened, giving the advantage of making the trunk aperture larger than before.

Thu, 19 May 2011

Ferrari Superamerica 45 - stunning At the start of May we were hearing that Pininfarina had put together a one-off special for a Ferrari client – the Ferrari Superamerica 45 – which was being built for New Yorker Peter Kalikow, an avid Ferrari collector. Not only were Pininfarina building this one-off Ferrari, but they were going to reveal it at Villa d’Este this week – a perfect setting. Well, Villa d’Este kicks off tomorrow, but Ferrari couldn’t resist releasing a few photos of the Superamerica 45 as it was readied for collection by Peter Kalikow, and a few details.
